Lamisil Cream is a medicinal product, and it is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, of the outer nails and of the feet, of the skin on the body (tinea, tarsalitis). Lamisil AT 1% TABLETS contains the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride.

Treatment of fungal infections of the skin, such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm and fungal skin infections.

In Treatment of athlete’s foot, treatment should be started on the first day of the athlete’s foot (between the toes) and continued for at least 2 weeks before the athlete’s foot symptoms begin. Treatment of jock itch, ringworm and fungal skin infections should be started on the second day of the athlete’s foot (between the toes) and continued for at least 2 weeks before the athlete’s foot symptoms begin. The athlete’s foot usually starts to improve after treatment has been completed.

Apply Lamisil Spray once a day for 7 days

1. Clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas of the skin

2. Hold the bottle upright or upside down, and spray sufficient amount to wet the treatment area thoroughly, covering the affected skin and surrounding area

3. If you need to apply Lamisil® Spray between your toes, fingers or buttocks; under a breast or armpit; or in the groin region, cover the area with gauze after the spray has been applied. This is particularly useful at bedtime.

Precautions

Lamisil Spray should only be applied to the skin on the outside of the body. Wash hands thoroughly after application to avoid infecting other parts of your body.

While the signs of the infection may disappear after using Lamisil Spray for only a few days, it is important to continue treatment for the recommended period. If you use it for only a few days, you may not eliminate the fungi from the affected areas. As a result, the infection may return soon after you stop using the product.
